Reading About Heart Attack Symptoms or Heart Attack Recovery

Is A Waste Of Time!

Unless you take ACTION!

Knowing heart attack symptoms or the symptoms of heart disease doesn’t help in the slightest if you ignore those symptoms.

Knowing what you should do to speed up your heart attack recovery doesn’t help in the slightest if you don't actually do it!

Knowing what you should do to live your live to the full after a heart attack or with heart disease doesn’t help in the slightest if you go back to your old habits!

Why do I say this?

In February 1999 I had a heart attack (Read my Heart Attack Story) and 4 months later I had a quintuple bypass. (Well it was a Friday so I think they gave me the special offer - 5 done for the price of 1!)

Joking aside, I had been walking around with five blocked arteries and not even aware of it!

I hadn't noticed any warning heart attack symptoms or that I had any of the symptoms of heart disease.

For most people, the first symptom of heart disease that they notice is a heart attack!

Since the heart attack I've been through various ups & downs, and although there are always constant reminders of what happened, I never actually looked at what was available on the net relating to heart attack recovery.

Then in March 2007, two things happened in the same week.

I was talking to a friend of mine who told me that the head master at his son’s school had just had a heart attack. He asked if I could recommend any books that would help him with his heart attack recovery? Secondly I went for my annual check up at my cardiology clinic and discovered that I was 20 lbs heavier than I had been 8 years ago.

I needed to get back on track!

I started surfing the net and I was horrified that the majority of sites only consisted of facts, statistics and generalisations about heart attack symptoms rather than any practical ideas.

If you’re reading this, then what you really need to know is how to speed up your heart attack recovery and how to live your life to the full after a heart attack or with the symptoms of heart disease.

  • You already know you should lose weight!

  • You already know you should eat healthier!

  • You already know you should exercise more!

  • You already know you should give up smoking

  • You already know that you should drink less!

So simple, but unfortunately, not so easy.

  • What you need is encouragement to speed up your heart attack recovery.

  • What you need are reminders of what will help.

  • What you need is a way to keep on track.

  • What you need is a friend who knows what it’s really like day to day living with the symptoms heart disease.

  • So that’s why this site is not a list of heart attack symptoms and why it concentrates on resources to keep you on track to live a full life after a heart attack or bypass.

    It’s not a medical site.

It’s a lifestyles site to aid heart attack recovery, covering diet, exercise, motivation and the latest developments and advancements in treatment.

Above all this site is about celebrating what we can do, rather than what we can’t and using that heart attack as a motivator to enjoy a full life after a heart attack or with symptoms of heart disease.

It’s Your Heart. It’s Your Life.

    It’s Your Choice.
