An Exercise Machine Could Save Your Life

Because exercise is often hard to stick to, an exercise machine may be the answer.

The heart is just a muscle. Ok I admit it is a very important muscle but it works the same as any of your other muscles.

The more you exercise any muscle, the stronger it gets, which means that you can do more with less effort. This is important day to day so that your heart is not being overworked.

In fact with regular exercise your heart will be able to pump more blood with less beats and if you are in a situation where you need to suddenly exert yourself, your heart will be able to cope.

Exercise does much more than just strengthen your heart.

It also helps you

reduce your cholesterol,

lose weight,

decrease your risk of a heart attack,

reduce stress,

reduce blood pressure

prevent Type 2 diabetes.

Well that’s a lot of bang for your buck!

With all those advantages why wouldn’t you exercise?

Well one reason is that you have to actually make the effort!

It’s easy to put off - It’s easier to sit in front of the TV than go for a walk.

One of the best solutions is to buy a Rowing Machine or Elliptical Trainer.

Think of the advantages:

You don’t have to go out in the cold or the heat.

You can watch TV at the same time

You’ve got a piece of equipment in the house that is a constant reminder to exercise!

A number of studies have found that exercising your upper body combined with aerobic exercise is the most beneficial exercise for your heart, so this could be better than just walking.

You don’t need the latest model or anything hi-tech, sophisticated or expensive (you’re not training for a competition).

Rowing Machine Even the most basic Exercise Machine will show you how long you have been exercising, how far you have “travelled”, how much effort you have put in, your heart rate etc.

Elliptical Trainer This enables you to monitor your progress.

Whatever you decide make sure that whatever exercise that you do is in line with the recommendations of your medical advisor.

It’s Your Heart. It’s Your Life.

It’s Your Choice.
